Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift's name in full is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 in West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became a popular singer and songwriter beginning in 2001, with her stories of heartbreak. Swift was a fan of music from an early childhood. She quickly moved up the ranks, beginning by playing roles in the theater for children and eventually performing before a large crowd. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and in the next year she picked up a guitar, and began writing songs. Inspiring herself by singers from country music like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of tween alienation. Swift's family relocated into Tennessee from Pennsylvania when she was 13so she would have the time she wanted to pursue country music labels in Nashville.
